After its fascinating prequel, Drishyam 2 finally made it to the big screen. Devgn returned as Vijay Salgaonkar in another suspenseful game full of surprises. Bollywood film, which is based on the Malayalam movie of the same name, also directed by Jeethu Josephs was successful despiSo, without going into great detail, let’s find out the Drishyam 2 Review.
Drishyam 2 Review:
Let’s be clear about one thing: this is a remake, and when We laud certain aspects of it, the genuine credit should go to Jeethu Joseph for doing that back in 2021. Before we start to gush about what’s good and terrible about the movie. We made the disclaimer specifically because Jeetu deserves praise for keeping the storyline consistent. The advantages of the original are much enhanced by Ajay’s version as well, but We think the extraneous changes ruined the fun for us.
The forced inclusion of Gaitonde, who is known for being corrupt and having ties to the goon squad, taints the character of Akshaye Khanna as it virtually makes him appear “limited” with his study. Additionally, by not including any intrigue centered around village side characters. We think Jeethu’s version was stronger in terms of making an impression. At this moment Drishyam 2 has an 8.9 IMDb rating.
Drishyam 2 Review: Storyline
In Drishyam, Ajay Devgn’s character continues to advance socially from being a cable operator to owning a theatre. This is due to conspiracy on individuals and how long it takes for law enforcement officials to finally solve an unsolved crime.
It is clear that Vijay has been affected, although he appears to be unaffected by the emotional turmoil that Nandini and their older daughter are facing. His love of cinema was prominent in Drishyam, but we later find out that this love has not faded. In Part 2, he learns important lessons about life from practicing his favorite art form.
Drishyam 2 Review: Performances
Ajay Devgn returns as Vijay Salgaonkar, who is now the owner of a movie theatre and resides in a lovely, big home with his wife and children. The narrative was drove by Ajay’s persona, and once again, he justifies his part. Salgaonkar is a devoted family man who enjoys watching movies, especially crime dramas, and will do all it takes to keep his loved ones safe. Of course, the actor makes an impression on us with his acting skills.
Shriya Saran who plays Nandini, Vijay Salgaonkar’s wife, in Drishyam 2 is constantly on edge due to the tragedy. In her neighborhood, she makes a buddy with whom she shares her heart. However, is she a genuine friend? The weakness of Nandini holds the key to the solution. She has done an outstanding job of engaging us in the story above and beyond.
After Dishoom, Akshaye Khanna is enjoyable to watch on the big screen. IG Tarun Ahlawat reopens case to investigate Meera’s son’s death and hidden place on October 2 and October 3. The movie has a promising and flavorful character in Akshaye. He has once again mesmerized the audience, and you will be left wanting more.
Ishitta Dutta, who played Anju once again, did an excellent job of conveying the terror that her character felt as a result of the event. Tabu assumed the role of Meera once more, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to find out the truth about her son’s death and hold Vijay’s family accountable. Siddharth Bodke, who plays David, deserves a special note. The character brought about a big plot turn, turning Vijay’s life completely upside down.
How Was The Direction?
The movie was directed by Abhishek Pathak, who is known for criminal thrillers like Section 375 and Khuda Hafiz. The movie begins to lag in the first half but makes up ground in the second with a number of unexpected twists. He effectively handled the film’s narrative despite its subplots. He might have overlooked a few minor aspects, though, while tying the second installment’s plot to the first.
Conclusions
Drsihyam 2 is the perfect criminal thriller for you if you enjoy them. In addition to making you laugh, Ajay Devgn’s movie also leaves you in awe with its jaw-dropping ending, leaving you clapping and whistling in the theatre.
